There 64 levels of adjustable discrimination so you can tell the metal detector exactly what it is you’re looking for! There are six notches made for selectable, preprogrammed settings of your choice. The static pinpoint included on the Omega line of metal detectors will let you automatically center the target, increase the audio pitch when ever you get near a target and indicate the depth of said target deep into the ground!
The Omega 8500 Metal Detector is also jam-packed with new features that will make your metal detecting experience a successful one! The Omega 8500 includes an Iron Segment ID that is perfect for detecting iron in any mode. There is also a positive ground balance offset with an automatic offset that can be programmed for whatever ground conditions you are in. The metal detector includes independent volume control per target category as well as an additional tone with proportional audio. There is even a deep mode with four settings and various filter options to control retune speed as well as block EMI.
